During World War II Britain built huge aircraft hangars that launched fighter planes at the height of the Blitz, and later heavy bombers to end the conflict. These vast open spaces make perfect Asian wedding venues, and then there’s also the added charm of doing your thing amidst vintage aircraft.
The smart set has been flocking to the museum proper in northwest London, where they have two separate hangars each capable of accommodating approximately 200 hundred Indian wedding guests. The main difference between them is whether you like your fighter aircraft historic or more contemporary. Beyond that the facilities are essentially the same.
The second branch is up at Cosford, Shifnal, Shropshire and just half an hour from Birmingham and Wolverhampton. Having been a larger bomber base beyond the reach of German aircraft means the hangars are bigger and able to accommodate modern passenger aircraft and up to 800 guests with able assistance from their Asian wedding planner.
You score either way when you choose the Royal Air Force Museum as your wedding venue host!
