The Kew Gardens spacious grounds underwent a variety of historic upgrades as horticulturists discovered they had an Asian wedding venue money-spinner on their hands. Today, their eclectic collection of monster conservatories and other buildings offers a posh way to get married in the heart of London at a price you can afford.
Take the Prince of Wales Conservatory which predates the current heir to the throne, and provides an opportunity to get hitched amongst sweet-smelling orchards and other exotic plants. You might prefer Cambridge Cottage if you fancy a solid roof over your 150 Indian wedding venue guests with a summer barbeque outside, and there’s more to come.
The Nash Conservatory is the largest public facility, along with the glass-roofed Orangery Pavilion which is one of the few Grade-1 buildings you can get married in unless you have the right connections. However it’s the views across the lake towards the Sir Joseph Bank building and the stunning photographic opportunities that make Kew Gardens really memorable.
